Amy Wilner, PsyD (psy#28291) is a clinical psychologist in private practice in San Francisco and Corte Madera. Since 1997, Amy has worked with adolescents facing affective disorders, parental death or divorce, and normative developmental struggles, as well as those engaged in high-risk behaviors including substance abuse, eating disorders, and suicidality. She has also worked extensively with adults in individual and couple therapy, addressing issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, divorce, illness, and injury. Dr. Wilner has considerable experience with the challenges facing caregivers and family members of those with chronic or terminal illnesses. She has edited numerous books, both academic and popular, in the fields of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, and has taught in clinical training programs across the greater Bay Area.
